Landlords to benefit from house insurance deals

Landlords could take advantage of a new offer that claims to beat other quotes for household insurance.
Privilege Insurance is offering to better any renewal quotes that claim-free home-owners obtain.
In order to qualify, property owners must not have made a claim in the past four years. The new offer follows the recent success of a similar car insurance deal promoted by Privilege.
"Our car insurance price guarantee has proved popular with safe drivers, so it makes sense to make a similar offer to home insurance customers," said Ian Parker, managing director of Privilege Insurance.
"By keeping their home safe and secure and taking care of its contents, consumers can now reap the rewards in the shape of lower insurance premiums."
