Holiday insurance sale begins

A leading provider has announced that it is offering discounted holiday insurance policies.
Supermarket retailer Tesco has reduced its holiday insurance prices by 20 per cent to increase sales to those planning a trip overseas.
The sale will run from 21st June to 12th September and will be available to in-store customers.
Allan Burns of Tesco Insurance said: "We all view travel insurance as the necessary but boring and frequently expensive part of a holiday.
"By using efficient sales routes through Tesco stores we're able to pass on savings to our customers giving them more cash to spend on holiday."
Customers will be able to purchase the travel insurance cover, even if their holiday is planned for later in the year. Single trip policies can be specified for a set date, whilst an annual policy will cover all trips taken in the next twelve months.
