Cuba could be ideal and cheap destination for Britain's holidaymakers.
The South American country could enable spending money to go three times as far when compared with popular resorts in Spain and Greece, according to a report by Marks & Spencer Travel Money.
The research also highlighted Egypt, Morocco and the Dominican Republic as "bargain" destinations because of favourable currency exchange rates and a lower cost of living.
Travellers could also make their spending money go further by avoiding currency exchanges that charge commission or offer poor rates. Changing money at the airport could cost around £36.40 more equal to five three-course meals in Cuba.
"To get the most out of our hard-earned holiday cash, we need be careful where we change our travel money," said David Mackay, commercial director of M&S Money.
"As well as choosing a good value destination, holidaymakers can boost their spending power even more by getting great rates and no commission," he added.
