The growing number of new vehicles on the market means that many young drivers are spoilt for choice when it comes to picking their next new car.
Luxury cars such as Alfa Romeo's new Alfa Brera, which is scheduled to make its UK debut this week at London's Olympia, are hoping to capture the younger end of the market. However, its luxury price-tag could mean that many young drivers could be looking for something a little more affordable.
The newly launched Mazda2 model range starts at just £8,700 and its redesigned colours and trims as well as the introduction of alloy wheels could appeal to many drivers looking to replace their current vehicle.
Female young drivers could also be attracted by the new Nissan Mica C+C which is now available in pink. The pink car was originally designed to help promote the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity but it proved so popular that Nissan have decided to launch a limited edition version.
The car will be priced at £14,495 and any young drivers wanting one will have to be quick as only 100 are to be made.
