The majority of young drivers are unable to afford a luxury vehicle but a new scheme could grant them access to a whole fleet of supercars.
The recent growth in so-called 'supercar clubs' could give young drivers the chance to drive their dream car, reports the Times.
For a few thousand pounds a year motorists are able to pick from a whole range of high-powered cars, without having to fork out on expensive insurance premiums or running costs.
The two leading UK-based clubs include P1, launched by F1-star Damon Hill, and. newcomer Ecurie25. The supercars on offer to members include many high-performance vehicles including Ferraris, Porsches and Aston Martins.
Erik Fairbairn, co-founder of Ecurie25, explained: "Our members can enjoy all the fun of supercars without any of the hassles
At the end of your drive you can simply drop off your car and well clean it and take care of it and make sure its all topped up and ready for your next outing."
Although the two leading clubs mainly restrict access to those offer aged 25 or over, they do make exceptions for young drivers with a clean record and extensive driving experience.
