Even Britain's worst celebrity drivers will need to take out motor insurance before hitting the UK roads.
A new reality television programme, to be shown on Channel Five, is to begin a hunt for the country's worst famous motorist.
So far, the line-up includes former children presenters John Noakes and Peter Purves as well as actor Brain Blessed, Radio 1 stars JK and Joel and former reality pop star Suzanne Show.
The show, which beings on September 11th will involve the celebrities driving from John O'Groats to Land's End and being subjected to a weekly vote-off by viewers.
"With these shows we're taking the successful 'Britain's Worst' brand and giving it an additional twist - the 'road movie' element and the excitement of 'live'," said Five executive Alex Sutherland.
It is also likely that the show's producers will be ensuring that all the contestants are adequately insured, just in case they are involved in a bump or two during their travels.
