One man in the US has been reunited with his stolen car 37 years after it disappeared.
Alan Poster, the proud owner of a new Corvette sports car in 1969, has discovered his stolen vehicle just as it was about to be shipped to Sweden, reports the New York Times.
"We can call this a miracle," said Mr Poster.
He added that it was "probably the only car I've ever really loved".
The vehicle had been recently sold to a Swedish buyer for Swede for $10,000 (£5,700) although it is worth around $60,000. Mr Poster had failed to insure the car in 1969 and therefore was still legally the owner.
However, motorists are being urged to ensure they have adequate car insurance cover as the chances of recovering a stolen car are very slim, despite Mr Poster's miraculous reunion.
