Get a good deal on a vehicle could help to cover other running costs including car insurance.
A new motor comparison service from moneysupermarket.com is hoping to enable car buyers to save money on their purchase by seeking out the best deal.
The new website, www.drivesupermarket.com, will compare the prices of over 20,000 new cars in order to help the consumer save up to £3,000 on the listed market price.
"Its so simple, one search on drivesupermarket.com is all you need to compare new car prices from all the best value online retailers such as New Car Discount and Jam Jar," said Natasha Harding of Drivesupermarket.com
"If you already know the make and model of the car you want to buy, buying online can be the easiest and by far the cheapest option," she added.
It is hoped that enabling savings on the initial purchase price will allow many drivers to cover the cost of enhanced car insurance cover and other running costs.
