Registered Keeper - This is not the person who actually owns the car but the person who looks after the vehicle on a day to day.
Renewal - An agreement to continue the insurance cover past the term it was originally set out for. An example would be a Car insurance policy where a renewal is likely to be made annually for continuance of cover.
Replacement car - What is sounds like, if a policyholders vehicle is undergoing repairs then depending on their insurance cover level they may be entitled to a replacement car to use during this period.
Risk address - The address that is actually being insured.
The Road Traffic Act - The first Road Traffic Act (or 'RTA') was passed in 1930, the most recent in 1989-90. This is the legislation which, amongst other things, requires every vehicle on the road to be insured.
