Drivers could soon be getting cheaper car insurance on the internet.
More and more companies are offering car insurance and other financial services products online.
As a result of this healthy competition, motorists can get some great deals.
Just last week easyJet founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou announced plans to launch his own online insurance offering.
He intends to use the internet to keep his overheads low and says he will pass on savings to the consumer.
A number of other firms already provide web only cover, cutting down on costs and offering cheaper premiums as a result.
