Car insurance company AA has joined forces with the successful Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The company has donated freephone phone lines to be manned by volunteers at its Cardiff call centre between 9am and 7pm this week to help raise cash for the charity that grants wishes to children living with life threatening illnesses.
"The AA has gifted us the use of the freephone number for Make-A-Wish Week and places in its call centre, so the public to call us and donate money so we can help more children," said Janet Williams, Make-A-Wish regional manager.
The week-long fundraising event is being backed by local stars such as Welsh rugby coach Mike Ruddock and will culminate in the charity's National Balloon Release.
